The Cambodia GeoSpatial Day 2025 aims at bringing professionals, policymakers, researchers, and students to share knowledge, showcase their work, and discuss the latest developments in the field of geospatial science and technology in Cambodia. This event follows on from The Khmer Earth Observation Day, which was launched last year.
The event will take place on Tuesday 18th of November at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), in the Hall A, second floor of the main Building A, at ITC in Phnom Penh.
Registration is open here until October 30th. The event is free, but registration is necessary to cover meals and coffee breaks.
Abstract submissions for oral presentations (15 minutes followed by 5 minutes for questions) or posters are open on this website, until 24th October. Presentations and posters can be related to various topics:
- Biodivrersity / ecology
- Land management / urban planning
- Coastal management / spatial hydrology
- Transportation
- Health-related studies
- Climate-related studies
- Drone / aerial survey / 3D mapping
- or others
We also invite proposal for short presentations (also 15 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A) of laboratories, institutions or companies to better know the geospatial actors in Cambodia.
